Meet Heidi
Fine Arts Painter
Heidi Savage is a realist painter that came to painting later in life. After studying sculpture at the University of Maryland (BFA) and Parsons School of Design (MFA), Heidi focused her life on raising her twin children, selling real estate and helping her parents. In 2017, Heidi returned to school at a classical Atelier in Philadelphia to study painting at Studio Incamminati. The Atelier, founded by Nelson Shanks, is known for its study of color and also teaching the principles of painting. After completing the four year program and one year of fellowship, Heidi returned to Orlando, Florida where her primary focus is on the portrait and still life. Painting has been and is the view of beauty through a lifetime of practice.
